when porcelain poetry becomes personal
There's something radical about wearing porcelain. It's delicate yet strong, ancient yet unexpected, humble yet refined. Each piece in this collection challenges how we think about precious materials and personal adornment. Like the women who wear these pieces, porcelain carries stories and strength within - a quiet power passed down through generations, transforming everyday moments into something special.
In my Brooklyn basement studio, I create jewelry that merges Italian craftsmanship with contemporary design. My mother taught me early that beauty belongs in every moment of life - a lesson that guides my hands as I work. Each piece begins with French Limoges porcelain, individually hand-sculpted. My background in Italy, where I learned the foundations of porcelain work, influences every creation, while my ongoing exploration of soldering techniques allows me to push the boundaries of what porcelain jewelry can be.
I hand-sculpt every ring, creating forms that honor both the material's natural elegance and the uniqueness of those who wear them. Through multiple firings, I build layers of detail and texture, carefully embellishing select pieces with fragments of Murano glass, Italian sand, pure silver, or 24-karat gold. These materials become one with the porcelain, creating subtle plays of texture and light that make each piece distinctive.
The collection spans from bold statement rings to refined necklaces and earrings, each one reflecting my commitment to craftsmanship and beauty in daily life. Drawing from my chef's understanding of detail and presentation, I create pieces that, like my mother's jewelry collection, have the power to transform moments and carry stories forward.
