White Porcelain Ring with Blue Nerikomi Elements and Murano Glass
This contemporary ring combines traditional Japanese clay working techniques with Italian glassmaking artistry.
The piece is hand-sculpted from white Limoges porcelain, crowned with three hollow elements crafted using the nerikomi technique - a method of hand-building with multiple colors of clay to create fluid, marbled patterns. These sculptural forms evoke both a classic trilogy design and delicate flower petals. Each hollow element is partially filled with melted Murano glass, adding translucent depth to the composition.
The creation process involves three firing cycles. After the initial bisque firing, the porcelain undergoes vitrification at cone 10 (2,350°F/1,288°C), transforming into a durable, non-porous material. The final firing at cone 13 melts the Murano glass into the hollow elements, completing the ring's distinctive appearance.

Each ring is handcrafted and unique, making it essential to find your perfect fit. Use a ring you already wear comfortably or measure your finger with a strip of paper, marking where it overlaps. Measure this length in millimeters and compare it to this size chart:
Size 6 -51.9mm, Size 7 -54.4mm , Size 7.5 -55.7mm, Size 8 -57mm Size 8.5 -58.3mm, Size 9 -59.5mm, Size 9.5 -60.8mm
For the most accurate measurement, size your finger in the evening and avoid measuring when your hands are cold.

Your porcelain ring is crafted to be both beautiful and durable, but a few simple practices will help preserve its unique character:
Remove your ring before swimming or applying lotions. When needed, clean gently with mild soap and warm water, drying thoroughly with a soft cloth. Store separately from other jewelry to maintain its pristine condition. While porcelain is remarkably strong, avoid impact with hard surfaces.
For pieces featuring precious metal elements, such as gold luster or silver, take extra care to prevent scratching of these delicate surfaces.
